Detailed description of Abenaqui Country Club
Abenaqui Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Rye Beach, New Hampshire.
Abenaqui Country Club first opened for play in 1899. The course was designed by Arthur Fenn. Over the years the course has been expanded by a series of architects in different decades. The redesigns have been done by Manny Francis, Geoffrey Cornish and Bill Robinson.
The fairways are fairly open, and the greens are medium-sized and fast. Water hazards (lakes) come into play in several areas.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,697 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,601 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 560 yards. The shortest hole on the Abenaqui Country Club course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.

Guest (cart included), played on Tuesday, August 2010 at 10am
Played the New England Juniors there last week and the course, staff, conditions, and playability were great. Even with a dry and hot summer, the course was plush, greens rolling smooth and just a pleasure to play. All the boys loved the varying challenges the course presented.
